Your information about safe hangout places is amazing. I've learned a valuable lesson the hard way.( i contracted H through promiscuity) I'm currently in a Saa 12 step program and by the Grace of G-d been sober for 1 yr. and 2 mths.I got married 4 months ago, enjoying a spiritually and emotionally fulfilling relationship with my special loving and supportive husband. Your strength is awe-inspiring. I don't know how you hold it all together. Your courage and faith made me cry. You gave me so much will to keep going. Thank you for your generosity in sharing your experience, strength, and hope. May G-d bless you and may you know only happiness and joy in your life.

Ms. Rachel Milano,

Just about every one of your posts (that I've read so far) have nearly brought a tear to my eye; they are all filled with love, compassion, and understanding. It's hard to realize that I, of all people, now have HSV-2, but hearing your beliefs on living with it and living life give me hope to finally accept it and surround myself with people who will too accept it (if I decide it's necessary for them to know).

Although I still think negatively throughout the day, I try to remember how minuscule this virus is compared to life itself. We all don't live forever so why spend today worrying so immensely about something seemingly so insignificant?

I am still conjuring up the courage to tell my boyfriend about my diagnosis but your posts fill me up with the courage I need when my supply seems to run low...

I thank you for sharing your compassion and love with us all, Ms. Milano. Please keep your uplifting posts acomin'!

Sincerely and thankfully

Rachel ... Thank you sooo much for your words of wisdom and knowledge. Even after living with H for 13 years, you maaged to 'teach' me some things I was not aware of and I am very grateful for that. I will definitely, look for your book when it is published. Please, keep us posted and thanks for sharing your story.

Thanks for sharing your story. There are some things that you mentioned that I did not think of and I have lived with H for 18 years. Your message reinforced what I knew and enlightened me on others. I can't speak for everyone else but I needed and wanted to hear what you had to say.

Ms. Milano, thanks for sharing your story. It was very touching and I am sorry for all that you have had to experience, not sorry for you because I can tell you will be ok. I have had herpes for about 19 years but it's always, for the most part been mild OB's. If I remember correctly, you wrote a book or
something, correct?
